Welcome to Belle Volleyball Academy!
It is our goal to make you a better volleyball player.
What is BVA?
Simply put, Belle Volleyball Academy is 4 month long series of training clinics designed to help you
become a better volleyball player. We will focus on fundamental skills, footwork patterns and repetition.
BVA is an opportunity for you to TRAIN in a disciplined environment with high quality coaching.
What BVA is not:
BVA is not a travel team. It is not a place where you will come in and play games and queen of the court for 2 hours.
You will come in, listen intently, work hard to improve and leave tired.
Where will the practices be?
Practices will be every Monday starting January 2nd in the auxiliary (practice) gym inside the Junell Center at ASU.
The final session will be Monday, April 30th. The only exception will be the Monday during Spring Break. Practice
time is from 7-9pm!
Who is it for?
BVA is for young women in 5th - 8th & 9th - 12th grade. Athletes will be split by age and ability. BVA is a training
opportunity for individuals. Athletes will get out of it, whatever they put into it. Your success and improvement will
not depend on the person next to you, only you.
What does it cost?
The cost to participate with BVA is $500. This covers membership, equipment, facility usage, and coaching.
Cost Breakdown:
Membership: $50
Equipment: $125 (Balls, T-shirt, Nets, Floor tape, Elastic, Med Balls, Jump Ropes, Hitting Boxes etc...)
Facility Fee: $125 (Gym Rental plus electricity and janitorial charges)
Coaching Fee: $200 (4 months at $50 per month)
Can I play club ball and still do BVA?
ABSOLUTELY. BVA can help enhance your club experience. Ideally we'd like to work in conjunction with your club to
make you a better player. Because we are not traveling or competing, there should not be a conflict.
Is there a tryout?
NO. Anyone interested in improving their game can train with BVA.
How do I sign up?
Please email me at cwaddington@angelo.edu to reserve a spot. Click HERE for our registration form. We will have a
Registration meeting on Monday, November 14th to accept members and answer any questions parents may have
about our program. The meeting will be at 6:00 pm in the practice gym inside the Junell Center. The registration fee
of $300 is due at that time. The balance for coaching fees ($200) will be due on or before our first workout in January.
How do I pay?
At the November meeting, you will be required to pay the Membership, Equipment and Facility Fee totaling $300.
The balance ($200) will be due on our first Training night January 2nd. At this time, we can accept cash, checks
or money orders only. Please make checks out to Belle Volleyball.
What if I miss the Registration meeting, can I still participate?
YES! Any registrations received after that meeting will be subject to a $50 late fee, but we will take athletes
into BVA any time.
